Make sure to change ‘YOUR_INNERTRENDS_TOKEN’ to your project token. You can find your account token inside your InnerTrends account settings section.
Will InnerTrends impact page loading speed?
The InnerTrends code loads asynchronous and is designed to have no impact on your app loading speed. In fact you’ll see that Google Page Speed tool reports the maximum score for a page that has our tracking code on.
How do I know if it has been installed?
Simply checking your Network console in your browser and seeing the itl.js file loaded means that the job was done:
What user actions is InnerTrends tracking?
By default, the code you add to the website, depending on your application setup, tracks very little or no activity at all.
Once on your app, the tracking manager can be initiated and user actions can be deployed either by your InnerTrends designated web analyst or directly by anyone with access to the InnerTrends account.
Will I be required to customize the above code?
There are no customization options for the InnerTrends code. However, in rare cases when they are not already available, we might need access to some extra global variables.
Having access to the timestamp of the date when the user inside your app created his account will allow InnerTrends to get very high accuracy on user onboarding reporting.
